MAKE A DIFFERENCE CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE
Hi Everyone,
Whenever you are experiencing negative emotions or even full on depression. Attitude is a very important component in getting better. In fact is the single most important “first thing” you do. Change your attitude to being more positive and believe you can get better. Let me illustrate this with a short attitude story.
A reporter was sent to a stone cutter to interview men doing exactly the same job – hammering stones. Asking them how they liked their job, the first one answers, “I really hate it. I barely make the money to survive. I am doing the same stupid job thing over and over. My back hurts. I am getting old, and I absolutely see no sense in what I am doing.”
The second man responds to the same question, saying, “It’s not bad, I have a decent house and a nice car. I love my family; I am fulfilled with what I am doing.”
The third man replies, “I love my job. I am absolutely thrilled and I appreciate everyday I can be here. I think my work is wonderful as all these stones I am hammering will later be part of the material to build a wonderful cathedral. A place where many people can worship God and a place where people will find the strength to overcome struggles and difficulties in their lives. I cannot imagine doing something different – I feel happy every moment.”
Remember – all these people are doing the same exact work. It is only their attitude that makes a completely different person out of them. Not only are these people all different, they each will be affecting the other people around them by their attitudes.
It’s the basic principle of looking at a half full or half empty glass. It is your viewpoint of life and the emotions that you harbor in your mind that determines your attitude. If you think everything has to be given to you for free and this includes; that by some magical means your negativity and depression will “fix” themselves up by themselves. You are setting yourself up for a big disappointment. You will spend a lot of time being angry (another negative emotion you have just introduced into your mind), you’ll soon discover that nothing comes to you for free. Focusing on who you are and what you have will shift your attitude and make you more humble to allow healing the mind to take place. Recognize what you do have is already their to heal you, just allow it to happen. In the meantime go out in nature and recognize the beauty of life. Pick a flower, watch and feel the grace of it.

BE CAREFUL OF CHANGES
Hi Everyone,
Wishing you all a Very Happy and prosperous New Year.
A lot of times when we make changes in our life, especially to do with letting go of the negative emotions and instilling positive thoughts and emotions into our mind; we find at times to be still stuck in the past and reacting to it. True and authentic changes demand we let go of the past, if we are to move ahead in a positive way. I will illustrate this with a short story.
A passenger in a taxi leaned over to ask the driver a question and tapped him on the shoulder. The driver screamed, lost control of the cab, nearly hit a bus, drove up over the kerb, and stopped just inches from a large plate glass winder.
For a few moments, everything was silent in the cab, and then the still shaking driver said, “I’ m sorry, but you scared the daylights out of me.”
The frightened passenger apologized to the driver and said he didn’t realize a mere tap on the shoulder could frighten him so much.
The driver replied, “No, no, I’m sorry, it’s entirely my fault. Today is my first day driving a cab…….I’ve been driving a hearse for the last 25 years.”
That is all for now. Any questions? richard@mindeze.com If you would like regular hints on emotional wellbeing go to www.mindeze.com and subscribe.

HI Everyone,
There is Hope
The following is an extract from my book “From the Pit to the Pinnacle” conquer your depression in 20 minutes a Day and Awaken your Bliss. Your can purchase it as an e-book and immediately download it at www.fromthepittothepinnacle.com also from Amazon or any bookstore that stocks it.
‘It was from within this lowest ebb that my mind had an insight into a potential solution. I had been involved in natural health for many years (specifically energy therapy ). Depression is a disease that consumes your mind, body, and soul. You become incapable of thinking rationally.
You believe that there is nothing that can help. Somehow I rallied enough strength and decided to use my therapy (and other natural methods ) to beat this monster. My elevated blood pressure, blood sugar, and heart palpitations had shown me the power of thought. Thought is energy and I sincerely felt that I was destined for recovery. Simply thinking of being well will not make you better, but it is an important component. It was not just my thoughts that contributed to the change in my brain chemistry. It was the disruption in my energy system combined with a broken spirit. EMT (Emotional Mindeze Therapy) and other energy therapies clear negative energy, unblock energy pathways so that energy can run throughout the body and mind unrestricted. Once this is achieved, the body and mind can heal themselves’. That is all for now. Hi Everyone,
Admit It
Usually when you are in a state of depression, you feel that everybody is wrong and that you are the only one that is right. You believe no one understands you. In most cases you are right. How do you come to the realization that you must do something about your state of mind? First, get your ego out the way and then, just for a few moments, pretending at first if you have to, think what others are saying about you is right. A revelation will suddenly hit you: “Oh my gosh! Some of that stuff my friends and family were saying about me is true!” When you get this kind of thought – bingo! You have finally realized and accepted your disposition.
It is at this point that you will start to get that deep desire to become “normal,” to return to the life of the living. You will do absolutely almost anything to get better. You are now halfway to gaining your emotional health back. That’s all for now.
